Pours light amber. Pleasant hop and biscuit notes on the nose combined with a slight funkiness. Light on the palate with hints of citrus. Not a very lengthy finish.
Collaboration between brewmasters Sam Corbeil and Ryan Morrow of Nickel Brook.
Pours cloudy amber orange. Nose of tropical fruit and pine resin. Loads of hop of the palate encircled by orange citrus and palate scraping bitterness. The finishing is pleasantly long. Highly recommended.
Aged in bourbon barrels with fruits, herbs and spices, it pours dark mahogany amber with a thick creamy head. Butter on the nose and palate from the barrel ageing but there also quite a bit of non-hop bitterness that will likely mellow and balance with age.
Black/brown; hints of cedar wood on the nose; slightly metallic and lighter on the palate than expected. Overall the maple is very subtle.
